The author of Navigating The Road to EXCEL-lence is owner and principal of Eric W. Augusta & Associates, a consulting practice he founded in 2000. He specializes in designing and building custom Excel® applications for clients across a broad span of industries that range in size from startups to multi-billion dollar enterprises. He also provides on-site Excel® training seminars for intermediate and advanced level users.

From 1995 to 2000, Eric Augusta was with The Cerplex Group, Inc. and Century Computer Marketing, as CFO and VP Finance. From 1977 to 1994, he was with Xerox Computer Services, where he held a succession of finance positions including Manager of FP&A, Director of Accounting, Controller and V.P. Finance. He began his career in 1973 at Ford Motor Company as a Financial Analyst.

Augusta earned a B.A. in economics from Cornell University and an M.B.A. in finance from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He also served three years as a U.S. Naval officer. He is a member of Financial Executives International (FEI) and is a Microsoft® certified Excel® expert. He teaches Excel® seminars through UCLA Extension, CalCPA Education Foundation and CPE Link.
